Two individuals from each finalist company can attend the exclusive VIP Sneaker Soiree. The VIP red carpet will open at 5:30pm to showcase your best outfit and sneakers. The VIP Sneaker Soiree will begin at 6pm, with an open bar, hors d'oeuvres, entertainment, networking, and more. Guests at the Soiree will need to present their VIP digital ticket upon arrival.
Each table at the gala seats 10 individuals. With your table purchase, you will need to assign each of your 10 guests a ticket and each guest will need to redeem their digital ticket prior to the event.
At the event, there will be a map and volunteers that will direct you to the location of your table. Your company logo will be printed at each of your tables.
The Hall of Fame & Awards Gala is a black tie and sneakers event designed to celebrate Utah business and one another. And what better way to do this than to gather and dress up. “What is black tie and sneakers?” you ask. It is a dress code that encourages all to embrace self expression with two important characteristics in mind: 1) wear your best or favorite pair of sneakers, and 2) channel your interpretation of “dressing to the nines” and show up with confidence.
During the programming, one winner from each category will be announced and they will be welcomed to the stage. Please read the details below so you understand what to do if you win.
The program will begin at 7:30pm with dinner and remarks. We will then move into announcing finalists. Each category will be introduced with an animated slide featuring headshots or company logos. The award presenter will then announce the winner, and the DJ will play music while the winner takes the stage. The stage can be accessed using the stairs on the left side of the stage (if you're looking at the stage). Only one representative from the company will be admitted onto the stage to receive the award.
Each winner will be given the opportunity to give an acceptance speech at the podium. Speeches should be 30-45 seconds, as the DJ will begin playing music at the 45 second mark. For your convenience, the downstage monitors will have a countdown timer.
In case you haven’t heard, this event is one-of-a-kind. So of course, winners will have the opportunity to make their stage exit one-of-a-kind. Relive your childhood dreams and jump into a ball pit filled with over 12,000 plastic balls and a camera ready to capture the action. If you win and would like to jump into the ball pit, please complete the waiver below. The ball pit will be at the bottom of stage left. If you decide to forego the ball pit, you will exit stage left as well.
Award winners will have the option to jump into the ball pit after accepting their award. We will require anyone who wishes to jump into the ball pit to sign both of the following waivers by February 2nd.
With your table purchase you will gain access to your company portal. This portal gives you the ability to manage and distribute the seats at your table.
Note: If you delegate this responsibility to a co-worker that is not currently associated with your company account that person will not be able to access your company portal, you will need to add them once you are inside the portal.
To access your portal, visit siliconslopes.com, go to Sign in at the top right corner and login. If you have previously created an account, you can use those credentials to login. If you have not yet created an account, do so using your email and create a password. Once you’re logged in, select your name on the pop up screen.

You have been allotted digital vouchers for the gala that include VIP passes and general passes. Please note: we ask and require that you do not do public giveaways for these tickets.
In the left-hand menu, select My Tickets. You should see your tickets on this page - they will be named Hall of Fame & Awards Gala VIP Admission or Hall of Fame & Awards Gala Admission. You can either click the arrow to the right of the ticket or click See Details and then select Transfer Ticket in the top right corner. You will then input your guest’s email and they will receive an email with a prompt to accept their ticket. If they already have a Silicon Slopes account, they will be prompted to login and the ticket will be in their My Tickets section. If they do not have an account, they will be prompted to create an account. Once logged in, they will navigate to Pending Transfers and Accept the ticket. Their ticket will then be moved to the My Tickets section in their portal.
If at any point you would like to see who the current owner of a specific ticket is, navigate to Order History in the left-hand menu and click See Details to the right of the order with your tickets. You should then see each ticket with the current ticket holder listed below.

Your guest will receive an email with a prompt to accept their ticket. If your guest has any dietary restrictions, they will be able to identify those by navigating to My Tickets, finding their ticket, clicking See Details, and then completing the field at the bottom of their ticket titled Dietary Restrictions *All dietary restrictions must be submitted by January 31st.
On the day of the event, guests will want to have their digital ticket (in the form of a QR code) readily accessible. They can add their ticket to their Apple or Google wallet by selecting See Details. For entrance to the event, each guest will need to present their digital ticket.
